At Adobe Benelux I work as Marketing Project Manager at the marketing department since April 2007. My job is to maintain and expand our personal relations and network within the creative industry (agencies, award shows, branche organisations) and related media, project management of events, sponsoring and support for the Adobe communities within the Benelux. Next to that I am the manager of the Dutch Adobe User Group, and I am freelance creative network consult – promoting the work of agencies.

When I started at Adobe I joined the new board of the Dutch Adobe User Group as chairman – a community that came from the formal Macromedia User Group. This has now been transformed to an association, organising more then 8 meetings per year with an avarage of 250 visitors attending, more then 3000 creative professionals and 25 sponsors.

Freelance creative network consult
Next to my job at Adobe I work as a freelance creative network consultant. I promote the work of creative agencies (concept, design, production, etc.) with the press and the blogs I write for, and using social media, building on the network I have. I have been working for motion design agency Addikt and creative agencies Tribal DDB Amsterdam, Hanazuki and Redurban. Read more about it here.

Creative background
Before Adobe, I was Ambassador at Satama FlashFabriek (now part of LBi Lost Boys) and project manager at advertising agency OER. Earlier I was Editior-in-Chief for five years at graphic design magazine Dzone. This was a result of a background of more than ten years working experience as a graphic designer, multimedia designer, online creative and art director. Oh, and I once started doing graffiti : )
